  • Exit La Jolla Village Drive
  • Head west on La Jolla Village Drive

  • Turn left at the stop sign onto Voigt Drive
  • At the intersection just past Canyonview Pool, turn right (still on Voigt Drive)
  • Continue on Voigt Drive and Atkinson Hall will be the third building on your left.

Obtaining Parking Permits

  • Upon arrival to UCSD, obtain a Parking Permit from a Visitor Information Center (see "UCSD Campus" map below). You do NOT need a permit for the weekend.
  • You can also buy a permit from Hopkins Parking Structure at the permit machine on any floor near the elevators.
  • One day parking permit: $8.00

To get to a Visitor Information Center

Gilman Drive from Interstate 5

  • EXIT on Gilman Dr. and head north
  • Continue for about 1.5 miles and enter the Center on your right

North Point from Interstate 5

  • EXIT Genesee Ave. and head west
  • Turn left on North Torrey Pines Rd.(3rd traffic light)
  • Turn left on North Point Dr. (1st traffic light)
  • Turn right at the second stop sign into the Center
